A trip to Herrenchiemsee is a definite must!
Take the Chiemsee boat for a speedy and comfortable journey to the island.

The island has many interesting sights, such as King Ludwig II’s palace, a museum dedicated to King Ludwig II, the Augustinian monastery or the Chiemsee painters’ art gallery. Also check out the park and its beautiful water displays.

An outing to Herrenchiemsee is a delight all year round!

From mid-April until the end of October horse-drawn carriages commute between the dock and the palace.

One way fares for the carriage:
Adults 3.00 €, children and teenagers (between 5 and 17) 1.00 €.

The sights on Herreninsel are open daily.
